Keeping it Cool

Spring will be here before we know it! I am planning to start seeds indoors the week of March 15th! In less than a month we will have trays full of green seedlings! Spring is also when our cows begin to calve. I always get so excited for new beginnings!

I can't wait for warm weather, sunshine and to take Dean on walks! It will be so fun to watch him enjoy the outdoors, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about the work load of the flower season. We won't be able to stay late on the farm and evenings in the garden with a little one will look very different. Autumn Calabrese, our Beachbody super trainer, says being prepared isn't half the battle, it is the battle, and therefore we will have all the things ready- sunscreen, stroller, toys, hats, etc. We also decided it was time to buy a flower cooler! We found one on Facebook Market Place! Tyler and my farther-in-law, Brian, went and picked it up on Friday. The cooler isn't huge but it will be a serious game changer!

The cooler will give me more flexibility to harvest and arrange bouquets ahead of time. Keeping the flowers fresh until they are delivered or picked up. We are planning to put the cooler in our garage; this will work great for arranging the flowers at our house. Having a cooler also opens up the opportunity for more design work!

I love designing flower arrangements for special occasions and events! I could spend hours with a bucket full of flowers and a table full of vases. It is my goal to design with our farm grown flowers first and foremost but I will occasionally purchase sustainably grown flowers to guarantee I meet all of your flower needs!

We offer elegant and hand-crafted flowers for holidays, birthdays, showers, anniversaries and other special occasions. My goal is to move into the wedding space. Designing bouquets with farm fresh flowers! Inquire for details!

We will be offering Mother's Day arrangements. Stay tuned for more information!
