We are excited to announce our decision to sell direct-to-consumer beef! Our family has raised cattle for 100+ years! I remember sitting in the truck as we moved the cows from pasture to pasture, just like a good ol' fashion cattle drive! Raising cattle runs deep in our family's blood. Even when the farm market crashed in the 80's, we pushed through and continued to raise beef. Grandpa made the decision to retire and sold the last of his cows in the early 2000s. We kept one cow back from his herd that my step-sister showed in 4-H. Her name was Josie and she kick started our new herd. We continued to keep back our 4-H heifers and grew the herd from 1 to 25. We may be a pretty small cow/calf operation, but we have big dreams! One of those dreams is to sell our beef directly to consumer.
