Today I want to highlight a beautiful couple, Mariah and Jared Schlabach. I was beyond excited to design the flowers for their spring wedding.

Mariah and her mom, Bev, reached out after seeing a post my Aunt Tami shared on Facebook. I met with them one Saturday and we hit it off instantly. Mariah's floral recipe included white Calla Lilly, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, Seeded Eucalyptus and evergreens.
The design was both timeless and elegant. Can you believe her flowers are artificial? Mariah decided to go with silk bouquets for a few different reasons. For one; you can have them made, crossed off your list, and ready to go for your wedding day. Second, they don't need water and are super light.
I will forever love designing with real but I am coming around to the artificial. We design artificial to be beautiful and realistic!
Jared's boutonnière was slightly different from the other groomsmen. We added a Calla Lilly to his. We also added a Calla Lilly to the corsages for the bride's mom, grooms mom and grandmas. All of the items tied in so well together.

What a beautiful sunset for such a special day.
